A small to medium-sized intertidal spider found just above the high tide mark in the'splash zone.' These spiders are well-adapted to coastal environments, often building small silken retreats in crevices and under rocks. They are frequently seen at night, sitting at the entrance of their silken retreat, waiting for unsuspecting prey to wander close enough to grab.
